 It began with a telephone call. Five people were coming round for dinner. The recipe for the main course wasn't working the way it was supposed to.

 Of course there are recipes which members can access directly. But we've given this a bit of thought, too.

 They're broken down under various headings and sorted out into three categories:

  • Fast Track, recipes that are quick and simple.


  • Easy Does It for dishes that take a bit more time but are pretty straight-forward, too.


  • ...and Class Act when you got the time and you really want to impress.

The Food Hunter

 We might be used to having strawberries or asparagus 365 days a year, but that doesn't mean that there aren't seasons too, when foods are at their best, cheapest and most delicious.

 The Food Hunter is a monthly calendar telling you what's coming into season, what's actually in season, and which foods are probably past their prime, so you know what to look out for when you go out to the farmer's market or even the supermarket (yes, even supermarket food can taste better when it's in season).

 It's one thing knowing what to buy, another knowing where to buy it. We have forged links with Foreman & Field, one of the most successful on-line food suppliers in the country. We are also building up own network of suppliers who make or grow food products of the highest quality. This list will, of course, change with the seasons.
